Sydney Eck is from Denver, CO and is a freshman at Princeton University planning on pursuing an undergraduate degree in linguistics with certificates in music performance and cognitive science. She hopes to understand and highlight the impact of linguistic identity and subjugation within Indigenous and marginalized communities.

Outside of her classwork, Sydney is secretary and social media associate for Natives at Princeton and is involved with the Princeton Indigenous Advocacy Coalition. She hopes to continue working to understand, advocate for, and engage with the Native community at Princeton and expand support and awareness for Indigenous culture on campus.
