Bio/Description

Keely Toledo, a proud member of the Navajo Nation is from Logan, UT. She is Edgewater (Tábąąhá) born for Mud (Hasht ł 'ishnii) and a junior at Princeton University studying Socio-Cultural Anthropology with certificates in Environmental Studies and American Indian and Indigenous Studies. Keely is interested in understanding oil pipelines and environmental movements led by Native and Indigenous peoples.

Alongside her academic interests, Keely works to increase visibility for Native issues ranging from admissions to cultural activities meant to share and increase awareness for Natives and non-native students alike. She is co-president of Natives at Princeton and works with the Indigeneity at Princeton Task Force.
