We invite you to join us on Saturday, April 10th, 1:00-4:00 pm ET for our Environmental Justice Symposium: Meaningful Engagement Between Communities and Institutions of Higher Education. Featured speakers include: Kim Gaddy, Environmental Justice Organizer for Clean Water Action of New Jersey; Maria Lopez-Nuñez, Director of Environmental Justice and Community Development at Ironbound Community Corporation in Newark and member of the White House Environmental Justice Advisory Council; Chief Vincent Mann, Turtle Clan Chief of the Ramapough Lenape Nation; and Running-Grass, Executive Director of the Three Circles Center. A panel discussion will be followed by opportunities for small group engagement, developing tangible strategies for the University and student groups to take action towards Environmental Justice.
